博士課程… ネバダ大学ラスベガス校に決定！【留学】
Hi everyone! It’s hard to believe but already in May and I have been counting down until driving towards Las Vegas with all of my stuff.
Some of you know this, but in February I got accepted to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in the Kinesiology Department with a concentration in Motor Learning as a doctoral student starting in fall 2015, which I decided to accept. I got a full scholarship (GA) position, a Doctoral Graduate Research Assistant, including tuition and health insurance waiver, and monthly stipend that covers my living cost. I can also go to any athletic events for free, which I thought was a little bit funny like why this is a part of the GA benefit, but I am excited about going to the Division I sporting events as a part of the UNLV Runnin’ Rebel family. I am super excited to have this amazing opportunity for my career!
I will start driving towards Las Vegas in 10 days then stop by many places including Ann Arbor-Michigan, Chicago-Illinois, Lawrence-Kansas. I’ll also work at U.S. Air Force Academy in June before going to the final destination, Las Vegas. New adventure is about to begin!
少し報告が遅くなったのですが、ネバダ大学ラスベガス校で運動学習（Motor Learning）を勉強する運動学学部に、博士課程の大学院生として合格しました。また、授業を教えたり、研究の補助および教員をすることによって授業料免除、生活保険、生活費まで出してもらえるスカラーシップの枠まで頂きました。大学のテニス部監督をやめるのは寂しいですが、ラスベガスで過ごす今後の３年半〜４年間の生活が楽しみです。
この夏は、引っ越しと仕事も兼ねて、ミシガン州のアナーバ、イリノイ州のシカゴ、インディアナ州、カンザス州のローレンスに友人に会いに行く予定です。また、コロラド州のコロラドスプリングにある空軍士官学校（U.S. Air Force Academy）でメンタルトレーナーおよびテニスコーチとして少しだけ働かせて頂く予定です。その後、ラスベガスに向かいます。いろいろなところに寄るのでさらに運転する時間はかかりますが、どこにもとまらずにマサチューセッツ州からネバダ州のラスベガスに行った場合に46時間かかるくらい遠いので、とにかくたくさん運転するので気をつけ運転したいと思います!!
