Hello everyone! Hope your summer has been great!
Last weekend, I was able to meet my sweet boys & friends who I met when I was working at summer camp for past two years at KenMont & KenWood summer camp in Connecticut.
This camp is one of the biggest camps in the United States, and counselors are from all over the world, which is the one of the nicest things. Also, this camp really gave me clear ideas of how kids behave and how to take care of them in positive ways.
Over the past two years, I made friends from U.S., England, Australia, and Netherland, as well as and some were from Spain, Colombia, and Mexico.
Because I worked at U.S. Air Force Academy and gave a presentation in Minnesota in June, and will go back to Japan for a month soon, I was not able to work at the camp this year.
But luckily, this week I could meet some of my friends who I worked with at the camp. Nice to catch up with them! Pictures are the tennis court and one of my boys playing tennis.
Making friends makes me feel very enjoyable in my life. One of the best moments I can ask for is to meet friends who I have not met for a long time. Excited to go back to Japan this week. Thank you for reading my third blog! -Hiro
It is not surprising that you choose experiences that allow you to meet people from many parts of the world. I remember seeing you at the little store, Ten Thousand Villages, which carried items from many countries and paid fair value for them. You have a great smile and will continue to make people feel welcome wherever you go. Blessings to you in your travels! Bea
Thank you for your comment! Looking back, yes you are right. I did that work when studying in Northampton! I am now waiting for 12 hours flight to japan! Excited to be back but not ready for the long flight… lol Good to hear from you! God bless you! Hiro
